本稿では、筆者らが開発したキャリア形成支援のための教材について、タスクとプロジェクトの設計およびその特徴に焦点を当てて報告する。本教材は、元留学生の体験談をまとめた読み物教材および体験談からの学びを発展させるためのタスクとプロジェクトから成り、課題発見・解決能力や人間関係構築力を養うことを目的としている。タスクとプロジェクトは、グローバル社会での身の処し方についての議論や体験を通し、様々な場面で臨機応変に対応するための知識やスキル、思考力を高めることを目指しており、異文化間コミュニケーション、キャリアプラン作成、自己PR、人間関係構築のための会話の話題と態度などを取り上げている。
本稿では、これらの教材が、先行研究におけるタスクとプロジェクトの枠組みの中でどのように位置付けられるかを明らかにし、本教材の特徴と期待される効果、留意点を検討することにより、今後のキャリア形成支援のための教材作成・実践に生かすことを目指した。
In this paper, we report on the teaching materials related to career development support that the authors developed, focusing on the design and characteristics of the tasks and projects involved. The object of the material is to help students develop the ability to identify and solve problems and to build relationships. The materials consist of readings that summarize the experiences of former international students as well as tasks and projects for developing learning from the reading materials. The tasks and projects were designed so that through discussions of how to conduct oneself in global society, and through experiences in that regard, students can improve their knowledge, skills, and cognitive abilities so that they can respond flexibly to changing situations. The themes covered in the materials include intercultural communication, career planning, self-promotion, conversation topics and attitude for developing human relationships, etc.
We demonstrate how these tasks and projects are positioned within the framework of tasks and projects in the previous literature and examine the characteristics, expected effects, and potential issues of these materials. Through this report, we aim to support the further development and implementation of materials for supporting career development.
