This group comprises Chinese-Korean bilingual individuals who generally reside in the Yanbian region of China. However, members of this group are also well-known for their high mobility. More broadly, Koreans in China reside in various areas and their language consciousness depends on their residence. This study focuses on Koreans who have moved within China from the northeast region to Shanghai. Specifically, it aims to clarify the dynamics between the mobility and language of Koreans in Shanghai from the perspective of sociolinguistics. Online interview surveys were conducted based on recent research trends and social conditions. The results are discussed in this paper. Furthermore, through a comparison with Dalian, the paper clarifies the characteristics of Koreans residing in Shanghai as well as the commonalities and differences in their mobility and
