| 内容記述 | The author addresses the ambiguity of language level setting and the lack of systematization of "intermediate grammar" in Japanese language teaching through two types of survey analysis. Survey one found significant differences in the setting of intermediate grammar between the two materials, revealing the above problems. Survey two showed a weak but significant correlation between the processing level of the seventy grammars studied and the scores on the short writing task using the grammars, indicating that the processing level of the grammar explained the learners’ ability to use grammar knowledge appropriately. This study was conducted as a pilot study. In the future, it will be possible to analyze a larger number of grammars and to examine the determination method of grammar processing level more precisely. At present, the number of CEFR-compliant Japanese language materials is increasing, and it is desirable to develop a Japanese version of the grammar profile based on the study of the processing level of grammar, together with the validation of the Japanese CEFR can-do descriptors and the enrichment of various corpora. |
